Flower sector blooming
BRITAINS flower and shrub industry is blooming on the back of the gardening craze, according to the National Farmers Union.
The NFU reports that sales have risen by 40% over the last decade, which translates to a yearly take of 642 million.
Growers remain confident of the boom continuing despite the strong Pound hitting exports and the threat of the glasshouse business being hit by the climate change levy.
