Gongs for Scots meat men
THE Queens birthday honours list had two leading figures in the Scottish meat industry figuring in the awards, notes The Herald.
Brian Pack, chief executive of the Inverurie-based ANM group which owns Scotch Premier Meat was awarded an OBE.
Alistair Donaldson, general manager, Scotland, for the Meat and Livestock Commission, also becomes an OBE.
