Motokov to distribute TYM amenity tractors
MOTOKOV UK has consolidated its Landini and Zetor tractor ranges by taking on UK distribution of Korean-built TYM amenity tractors.
Initial models for the UK will include the 39hp T390 with ROPS, and the 55hp T550 available with either ROPS or air conditioned cab. A 28hp model – the T280 – will be introduced later this year.
The T390 model is powered by a 4 cyl Kubota engine, driving through a 12/12 synchro-shuttle transmission, while the T550 is fitted with a 3 cyl John Deere unit and 16/16 gearbox with creep speeds. Standard specification for the TYM tractors includes draft control and a two-speed pto with electric switch control and an auto-stop function. The latter function is designed to automatically stop the pto when the three-point linkage is lifted above a certain height, reducing wear on implements and improving tractor safety.
Both tractors feature wet discs brakes, with the T550 model offering four-wheel braking.
The T390 and T550 models are priced from £9995 and £14,995, respectively. *
