A farmer is digging trenches around his fields in a novel way to curb poaching and prevent joyriders from damaging his crops.
Rob Gardner, farm manager at Manor Farm in Upton Grey, a village near Basingstoke, Hants, is using a single-furrow forestry plough to dig trenches around the perimeter of his fields.
