Agreement sees Manip loaders marketed
NORFOLK-BASED Toucan Farm Machinery – importer of Monosem precision drills – is now marketing the Manip range of fore-end loaders.
Although the product ranges may seem worlds apart, both Manip and Monosem are owned by the same French parent company – hence the recent marketing agreement.
“The UK market for tractor-mounted loaders accounts for over 3000 units each year,” points out Toucan managing director Steve Twist.
“That clearly makes it a worthwhile tangent for us to exploit. Our plan is to penetrate the market by offering a particularly competitive pricing package.”
Each loader is fitted with a joystick cable-control and mechanical self-levelling through a parallel linkage arrangement. Quick-coupling hydraulic connections make hitching and unhitching a five minute job, according to the firm.
If specified, twin gas-accumulators plumbed into the hydraulic circuitry provide boom suspension. Using two means that the system can compensate for the different forces exerted when unladen and under load.
Fitted with a standard Euro attachment carriage, a loader suitable for tractors of up to 110hp will cost 4598.
