A NEW VERSION of one triazole fungicide has been launched to give growers better tank mix flexibility this season, BASF has announced.

The changes mean that Opus (epoxiconazole) now has improved tank mix ability with Starane (fluoxypyr), said the firm‘s cereal fungicide product manager, Tony Grayburn.

“With the old formulation, growers could only use half rates of both – this change gives much better tank mix ability,” he said.

The latest changes have not affected the product‘s efficacy or price, Mr Grayburn noted.
