New herbicide Broadway Star will take pride of place on Dow AgroSciences’ stand at Cereals.

There will also be demonstrations of new concepts in grassweed control.

Broadway Star is specifically designed for UK conditions, says Dow, and controls wild oats, ryegrasses, bromes and a range of broad-leaved weeds in winter wheat.

It is a contact herbicide containing pyroxsulam, florasulam, and cloquintocet-mexyl. Applied to winter wheat at GS11-32 and it is effective against actively growing grassweeds from two leaves to mid-tillering.

Visitors to the stand can enter a prize draw for a trip to a Broadway show in New York.
