Cereals exhibitor 2009

The British Society of Plant Breeders is using Cereals to explain the structure of the UK plant breeding industry, its contribution to competitive and sustainable crop production, and the steps involved in bringing a new variety to market.

Breeders will also highlight the opportunities opening up to develop crops with higher yields, improved climate resilience and more consistent end-use quality, and the need for renewed public investment in translational and applied crop science to enable these opportunities to be realised.
