Feed wheat for Portugal

The MV Mari Mar is loaded with 11,000t of Group 3 and 4 feed wheat at Immingham Docks, Lincs, for export to Lisbon, Portugal. The shipment, bought from farmers in the east midlands, Lincs and Yorks at 60-65/t, was sold to exporter and Gleadell shareholder Union Invivo earlier this year.

 Gleadell managing director David Sheppard said the UK still needed to export about 200,000t of old crop wheat before the end of June.
