Fungicide duo launch

TWO fungicides to control a broad spectrum of diseases in wheat and barley have been unveiled by Bayer CropScience.


A range of combinations of the triazole prothioconazole will be available for growers to use this season, including a co-formulation with fluoxastrobin, a new strobilurin compound.


Prothioconazole, to be marketed as Proline, was described at the launch in London as the next big step forward for the fungicide market by SAC”s principal crop consultant Keith Dawson.
