A NEW range of tank mixes and sequences have been approved for use with Dow AgroScience‘s florasulam-based products Boxer and Starane XL (fluroxypyr + florasulam), the company has announced.

Atlantis (mesosulfuron-methyl + iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium) is a key addition to the list of approved products that can either be tank-mixed with or followed by the products.

DuPont‘s co-formulations of flupyrsulfuron-methyl + picolinafen, DP944 and DP945, have also been added to the list, said Dow‘s cereal herbicide marketing specialist James Knight.

“The new recommendations will allow growers to devise weed control programmes that allow them to couple the outstanding control of cleavers and other broad-leaved weeds offered by Starane XL or Boxer with the grassweed control of other ALS-inhibitor products.”

No additional following crop restrictions or cultivation requirements are required when using an Atlantis or DP944/5 tank-mixture or sequence with Boxer or Starane XL above those on either product label, he added.
