New entry-level GPS system for under £1,000

Patchwork is to display enhanced versions of its BlackBox 510 and 510-S GPS systems for agriculture and unveil a new entry-level model, which delivers guidance and area measurement for under £1,000.

The BlackBox 510 is now well established as the farming industry’s most versatile and operator-friendly GPS system. Now it is joined by the new BlackBox 505 model – RRP £995 – which targets farmers, contractors and service providers taking their first steps into GPS guidance. The system offers simple guidance, either straight or curved, and area measurement functions to deliver a cost-effective and simple-to-use route to improved efficiency and productivity.

Striving to remain at the cutting edge of precision farming, Patchwork has also upgraded its class-leading BlackBox 510 model with software additions that enable boom switching and re-calibration of the A/B line after time away from the tractor.

The innovators in precision farming have developed these new features to bring further functionality and increased accuracy at a fraction of the cost of existing alternatives.

The final development on show will be the addition of optional Omnistar capability to the brand new Patchwork BlackBox 510-S auto-steering system – bringing accuracy to just 2in on this revolutionary product.
