Promising outlook in Lincolnshire

Paul Steer on CGR Booth Farms in Burton on Humber, Lincolnshire was halfway through oilseed rape harvest.

Eighty five hectares yielded over 4t/ha, and was coming off the combine at 9.5% moisture. He said the crop was not too bad, although was “nothing to get excited about”.

He added: “The wheat looks quite promising at the moment.”
