VIDEO: Combining world record smashed in Canada
Farmers in Canada have broken the world record for the most combines used to harvest wheat in one field at the same time.
Two hundred combines were used to clear the 240 acre field in Winkler, Manitoba on Saturday (7 August).
The attempt beat the previous record set by farmers in Ireland last year, who used 175 combines to harvest wheat in a 180 acre field.
The combines, which were brought to Winkler from all over western Canada, worked together for about ten minutes.
The event was held to raise money for Children’s Camp International, which sends children in Third World countries to summer camp.
