VIDEO: Wheat impresses as harvest draws to a close

The wheat harvest has been priority number one this week, producing some promising yields – one grower in Ireland recorded 12.6t/ha.

Matt Cosgrove, based in Galway, West Ireland achieved the high yield from his crop of Lion winter wheat.

In the UK, harvest is steadily drawing to a close, with many in the South already finished.

North of the border in Scotland, progress is a bit further behind with 60% of the harvest complete according to a report earlier this week.
