In the last few weeks dozens of virtual posters have been popping up on social networking sites, each showing six pictures illustrating what parents, friends, bosses and society really think you do in your chosen profession. The series of pictures concludes with a picture of what you actually do – usually the most boring of the lot.

Scientists, directors, lawyers, photographers, teachers, graphic designers, web developers and scores of other jobs have all been given the ‘What people think I do’ treatment, and now Farmers Weekly have adapted the format for arable farmers.
