The winter barley harvest was temporarily interrupted this week with thunderstorms, but, growers still managed to grab the small windows of opportunities as harvest 2013 looks to move up into second gear.
 
The first few reports of oilseed rape being harvested have also finally arrived however for many both the oilseed rape and wheat crops are still a few weeks away.
