Acorn link offers funding growth

AGRICULTURAL CONSULTANT Direct Farming and Rural Solutions has set up links with independent broker Acorn Commercial Finance, to offer farms and rural businesses more funding options.

Acorn‘s Paul Thompson said: “In the past, if government grants weren‘t available, farmers were often forced to take out loans with unregulated lenders.

“Now we can draw on the specialist independent knowledge DFRS can provide to find out whether private funding is the best option for a client, or whether there are alternative sources available to them.”

DFRS director David Campbell said: “Our links with Acorn will give our clients access to a wide-ranging network of national lenders.”
