Arla’s mega liquid milk facility starts production
Arla Foods’ new 1bn litre liquid milk processing facility has opened near Aylesbury dairy in Buckinghamshire.
The first milk processed for retail customers came off the production lines early this week at the £150m plant where building began in February 2012.
The plant is the world’s largest fresh milk facility with the aim of being a zero carbon plant at full capacity.
