British milk processing market share figures

Merging Arla Food amba and Milk Link will create a business dealing with 27% of GB milk processing, according to estimated 2011/12 figures from DairyCo.

The proposed merger, which still needs member approval, will change the landscape of the dairy sector making the merged co-ops the largest milk buyer in Britain with more than a quarter of the market share.
