A farmer was airlifted to hospital after being run over by his own tractor near Bolton.

Police, ambulance and fire services attended the scene.
Firefighters used air bags to lift the tractor off the trapped 65-year-old who was then taken by air ambulance to Wythenshawe Hospital with leg injures.
Being struck by a moving vehicle is among the most common causes of fatal injury to workers in the agriculture, forestry and fishing sectors.
However, it accounts for less than 5% of non-fatal specified injuries which are reported each year by agricultural employers.
