Play it Safe when Big Bag Filling

A safety-orientated big bag filler is the latest development from Lincs-based Tong Engineering.

The Jet-Fill introduces a lowered position for the filling mechanism, which allows operators to fit an empty bag at an easy-to-reach height.

On pressing the start button, the bag platform rises, allowing the delivery conveyor to feed the crop into the bag with the minimum amount of fall. A sensor on the conveyor automatically lowers the platform as the bag fills.
