Five dwellings, pasture and woodland in Sussex
Sussex also sees the launch of a residential farm next week. Masketts Manor at Nutley in East Sussex has about 318 acres, a manor house, converted barn and three cottages.
Almost two-thirds of the land here is mature woodland, with the remainder pasture.
Five lots make up the offering, with the five-bedroom manor, a good range of modern farm buildings and almost 86 acres of pasture and woodland included in the principal lot.
The four-bedroom Masketts Manor Barn with about 40 acres of pasture and woodland makes up the second lot, while the third includes the three Masketts Manor Cottages, all currently let on assured shorthold tenancies.
Lot 4 offers the most land, at about 182 acres. This is mainly broadleaved woodland with some pasture and has a guide price of ÂŁ840,000. A small pasture lot of about nine acres completes the farm.
The pasture and buildings are let to a local beef producer on a farm business tenancy until 28 September but with a break clause at 29 September next year. Masketts Manor has an overall guide price of ÂŁ5.5m. (Strutt & Parker 01273 475 411)
