Free car sticker to support dairy farmers

Farmers Weekly readers will receive a free milk price crisis car sticker in this week’s issue of the magazine (27 July).

The sticker, which bears the message ‘Fair price on the shelf, Fair price on the farm’, is based on the poster we produced two weeks ago which has been widely used across the industry.

It means farmers can show their ongoing support for the fight for a fairer deal for dairy producers by displaying it in their cars and tractors.

The sticker has been produced with the support of Krone, Massey Ferguson and Mole Valley Farmers.

Milk price increases by Morrisons, the Co-operative and Asda in recent days has shifted attention back towards the main processors.

But farm leaders have warned that they will continue to pile on the pressure to discount retailers and food service companies buying milk at ‘crazily low prices’.
