Internet campaign to promote Canadian milk

The Canadian dairy industry has launched a novel internet campaign designed to raise awareness of domestically-produced milk.
Dairy Farmers of Canada is promoting its 100% Canadian milk symbol by trying to get as many people as possible to take part in ‘The Great Canadian Moo’.
The idea is to get as many people as possible to press a button that goes ‘Moo’ on 3 June 2009. Organisers are hoping to achieve a World record with the most Moos in a 24 hour period.
The ‘Moo’ button can be downloaded onto your own website or onto Facebook. Members of the public are also being encouraged to promote the campaign on Twitter.
“Show your pride – just Moo” is the caption for the campaign. Shoppers are being urged to “stand up and be counted one Moo at a time” and to show their pride for 100% Canadian Milk.”
What do you think of the campaign? Fun and effective or ridiculous? Tell us on the forums. You can download the Moo button yourself below.
You can also watch a TV advert being screened to promte Canadian milk.
