New radio for harsh work

HAVING A RADIO in the workshop or milking parlour can make that long working day seem a little bit shorter. The problem is that more often than not these electrical devices are unable to handle the harsh farm environment.

Bosch has developed the Powerbox – a waterproof AM/FM radio that has been specifically designed to withstand hard knocks.

The unit has a rubber-encased antenna, steel grid speaker protectors and spring-mounted protective roll bar. It also incorporates a 12V battery charger for all Bosch batteries.
