Nuffield Carbon Farming Conference takes place tomorrow (30 April)

There are still a few places left at tomorrow’s (April 30) Nuffield Carbon Farming Conference, which aims to explain the impact of farming practices on climate change and identify opportunities for farmers to reduce their carbon footprint.
Four specialists who have been undertaking research in this field for some time will be the main speakers at the event.
Topics covered will include land-use options for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the implications for the uplands. Case studies of carbon stewardship will also be demonstrated.
The conference will also look at opportunities for farmers to profit from anaerobic digestion and biomass production.
A trade exhibition in an adjacent hall will be open to delegates.
The conference will be held at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire on 30 April, 9am to 5pm.
