Countryside Productivity claim deadline extended to July

The deadline for farmers who successfully applied to Round 2 of the Countryside Productivity Small Grants Scheme has been extended by two months.
The claim deadline has been moved from 31 May to 31 July to give farmers more time to buy, install and then submit a claim for their items.
The scheme is designed to help farmers pay for new equipment that will boost productivity, save time and increase yields.

More than 3,500 farmers in England were offered a grant in autumn 2019 and they were originally given 150 days in which to get their items on farm and then submit their claim to be processed.
However, the delay has been necessary as some suppliers are having difficulty in meeting the deadline due to the impact of coronavirus.
