RABI runners raise charity cash

More than 100 runners supporing the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution took part in the 10th British 10K London run on Saturday (11 July).

It’s estimated that over ÂŁ30,000 has been gathered by the runners for this charity which helps those in need in the farming community.

Afterwards, the RABI runners, who were aged between 15 and 65, and their 150 supporters gathered in St James’s Park for what’s become the annual post-race picnic – the food and drink for which was provided by The Farmers Club.

RABI chairman Julian Sayers and chief executive Paul Burrows both completed the race.

This year marks the 150th anniversary of RABI.
