South Wales farmland market offers three stock farm chances

Three Welsh livestock farms – all within a 60-mile radius – are for sale.
The largest is Cwmachau Farm near Brecon, Powys. At a guide price of £950,000, the 171-acre stock farm rises from 240m to 380m and has manageable field sizes, many of which have a natural water supply.
A steel-framed building and a Dutch barn provide cattle housing and handling space, while the farm also has two large sheep sheds and a number of traditional buildings for storage.
Cwmachau also has an improved four-bedroom farmhouse.
Nearby is the smallest of the three farms – Waen-Newydd – which has 108 ring-fenced acres and a modernised five-bedroom farmhouse.
Situated near Crai, the large farmstead has a sheep shed, general-purpose buildings and fodder store.
Most of the farm’s fields have a water supply and are stock-proof. The sale includes grazing rights on Fforest Fawr for 418 sheep with lambs until weaning. The guide price is £895,000.
Over near St Clears in Camarthenshire, Woolstone Farm is a stock rearing unit with about 149 acres and a range of buildings.
Bound by the River Taff, the entire undulating acreage is down to grass and the fields have either a natural or tanked water supply.
There are three large timber and steel-framed buildings for cattle handling and housing alongside a Dutch barn and a number of traditional stone constructions. There is also a four-bedroom farmhouse and BPS entitlements are included in the guide price of £900,000.
