Tyrell’s sold in £40m deal

Will Chase, the farmer behind premium crisp company Tyrrells, has netted millions of pounds after selling his company to a private equity firm.
Mr Chase, who famously snubbed Tesco after the supermarket stocked his crisps against his wishes, sold the firm to Langholm Capital for £40m.
The company, which was set up by Herefordshire Mr Chase six years ago, had sales of £13m for the year to March.
It is understood Mr Chase will stay with the company.
