One day left to register for Fertile Minds young farmer conference

There’s only one day left to register to attend this year’s Fertile Minds conference, a business event for young farmers hungry for success in agriculture.
If you are aged 18-25 and are interested in attending a free conference packed full of business advice, practical workshops and inspirational speakers, then this is the place to be.
Last year, Fertile Minds attracted 150 young people. Alicia Hill, from Derbyshire, attended and said it inspired her to take her idea of selling to the big food halls in London forward. She added: “Fertile Minds taught me to persevere, even when I get knocked back and to always have a contingency plan.”

This year the event, sponsored by Tesco, is taking place at an incredible example of farm diversification, the Rheged Centre in Penrith, Cumbria. Owned by the Dunning family, who are hill farmers near Tebay, the venue is the largest underground grass-covered visitor attraction in Britain.
Space is strictly limited to 150 and the deadline for registration closes tomorrow.
