Service helps sheep farmers find students for lambing work
© Food and Drink/Rex Shutterstock Sheep farmers looking for help at lambing can take advantage of a service that will link them up with students looking for experience.
The Lambing List, from the National Sheep Association (NSA), is intended to connect farmers who need assistance at lambing time with agricultural and vet students seeking lambing experience.

Phil Stocker, NSA chief executive, said linking up the two parties is very simple.
“We collate a list of NSA members looking for help at lambing time and provide contact details so students can approach them directly to ask for a placement.”
The list is now live and adverts received from NSA members will be available on the NSA’s Next Generation site.
NSA members can go on to the association’s website and fill in a form to advertise a lambing placement.
Students seeking a lambing work experience placement can also post their request on the NSA website.
