Grassland UK: John Deere 6150R
Another tractor to get its first UK outing at Grassland was John Deere’s mid-sized 6R series.
Like the rest of the Deere range, emissions from the 6150R’s six-cylinder, 6.8-litre engine are kept under control through EGR emissions control.
Transmission-wise there’s the choice of Deere’s AutoQuad powershift box, the seamless AutoPowr CVT or the dual-clutch DirectDrive. Deere says the latter should provide the perks of a mechanical shift and the comfort of a CVT by providing smooth overlaps between gears.
