Top of the viewing list on the Kverneland stand is the company’s Accord U-Drill, which is to be launched as a seed-only, 6m version with different widths and grain and fertiliser versions to follow.

A trailed drill, the U-Drill provides an element of seed-bed preparation through use of disc harrows and packing – all of which takes place before drilling – and working speed can be as high as 18kph.

Seed hopper capacity is a generous 4,350 litres, from which two electric metering systems feed seed to the coulters.

Kverneland has also increase its plough range, with the introduction of hydraulic vari-width versions of its recently launched 150 ploughs. The Variomat 150 is available in 3-, 4- or 5-furrow builds and furrow width adjustment is from 30cm to 50cm.
