Livestock 2014: Martin Richards ploughs in with Fieldking discs

You might not expect to see ploughs, discs and subsoilers at the Livestock Event, but Dorset-based Martin Richards Ag Engineers (which also brings in Tafe tractors) was showing some very well priced new Fieldking equipment from India.

The equipment looks a bit, er, scruffy at first view, admits Mr Richards, but that’s because it gets a hard ride on the journey to the UK.

If you can get past the second-hand looks, the build appears suitably robust. They’re aimed at mainly at smaller stock or mixed farms who would normally buy second-hand.

How about a set of 3m heavy-duty new discs for ÂŁ5,900, for instance? Or a three-leg subsoiler for ÂŁ750?
