Sima 2013: Sulky Kronos Drill takes on all soils

Sulky has built a new tine drill that could be useful for planting crops in less-than-ideal soil conditions.

The Kronos is lightweight and uses a set of simple spring tines to prepare the ground before seeds are planted. Seed distribution is handled by the firm’s standard air seeding and metering unit and it comes with a hydraulic fan, too.

It’s available in 4.8m, 5.6m and 6m working widths and all models come with a 1,700-litre hopper.

The 6m folding version will cost about £32,000.
