Autumn is now well and truly upon us – maize is being harvested, crops are being drilled and livestock are munching on lush grass laden with a heavy dew.

This season ushers in a whole range of beautiful colours and scenes, so we asked the winner of the 2016 Farmers Weekly Photography Competition, Rose Tabberer, to take some snaps of autumn around her home in the Rame Peninsula of Cornwall.

As ever, Rose didn’t disappoint. From ploughing work and pheasants in mid-flight to babbling brooks and turning leaves – here’s a selection of her stunning autumn photos.

Farmers Weekly’s annual photography competition for 2017 is now open for entries and there’s a first prize of £250 up for grabs.
