Arable potential in North Yorkshire

A North Yorks arable farm with 2000t of grain storage is available from the Northallerton Estate Agency.

Landmoth Hall at Kirby Sigston, near Northallerton, comes with 217 acres of land and includes a continuous-flow grain drier.

The five-bed house could attract residential interest, but the purchaser was likely to be somebody who would be farming on a commercial basis, said agent Richard Brown.

Mr Brown said the farm, which has been valued at 1.2m, was being sold as part of a restructuring move by the vendors, who owned more land elsewhere.
