Bull warnings, scarecrows and heart-shaped sheep

A bull with a unique warning message painted on it, the heart-shaped sheep and the scarecrow on the toilet.

These are just three of the stories that have appeared recently on Farmers Weekly‘s Field Day blog, which captures the lighter side of rural life.

Updated daily by the Farmlife team, Field Day was introduced in response to reader requests for occasional quirky countryside stories, alongside the news, business and technical information.

Three of the other stories it’s covered recently are the sheep that looks like a calf, the cow that thinks it’s a horse, and the cat having a little nap with a calf.

And that’s even before we get on to cows in swimming pools, sheep on roofs and the moonwalking pony.
