To help the Farmers Weekly team select a winner, runner-up and highly commended entry from each category, last year’s winner of winners Vicky Drysdale will be our guest judge.

As ever, we will be showing off the winning photos along with a runner up and highly commended from each category in Farmers Weekly’s bumper Christmas issue on 21 December.

How to enter

Entering is incredibly quick and easy – you just need to upload your best pictures to one or more of the relevant online galleries.

You can enter some favourite photos you have already taken and are especially proud of, or you can always get out in the beautiful British countryside to take snaps specifically with this competition in mind.

When uploading your images, please don’t forget to tell us when and where your photo was taken, along any other details you would like to include.

The photo’s significance, some context or short and sweet explanation of why you think it’s a cracking snap will help the judges when they are shortlisting your entries.
