Photo of the Week: Christmas jumpers for all

With Christmas only days away, we celebrate the festive mood with a Christmas jumper Photo of the Week.

The photo was sent in by Amy Wonnacott of New Park Farm, and pictures her, her 15-year-old assistant Sophie and, of course, two of her dairy cows (mother and daughter).

We think they all look great and love their Christmas cheer.

Amy has a smallholding of 40 dairy cows, Jerseys, Ayrshires and Holsteins, which she enjoys showing – this year they took part in seven shows across Dorset, Hampshire and Somerset.

She says: “I have loved farming since I could walk, and love showing – I’ve been showing for 15 years. Love a good fancy dress as you can see, too!”

Sophie also loves farming and got into showing with Amy after her interest was piqued at a Young Farmers’ Club calf show last year.
