Photo of the Week: Cultivations get under way in Cheltenham

With harvest wrapped for another year, cultivations are starting in earnest across the country.

At Westbury Farm near Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, Felicty Brawn has been cultivating the ground this week, ready for winter wheat following the spring oats harvest. 

Farmer’s daughter Felicity is self-employed, working for contractor M&V Farming.

She captured this shot of the JCB 4220 iCON Fastrac and Kongskilde in the field while checking ground conditions.

“I thought it was a nice view so took a photo of my work,” she says proudly.
