Photo of the Week: Harvesting under the Sturgeon Moon
This week’s photo of the week shows the Bathurst Estate’s crew hard at work into the night, lit by the Sturgeon Moon.
Charlie Walker, part of the harvest team, took the photo. He said: “We were going into the night combining, and as it got dark the moon started to rise.
“It was the Sturgeon moon on the first night and looked incredible against the clear sky, so I thought I’d try to capture a picture of the orange moon in the background of the combine.”

The team were harvesting Costello and expect combing to be finished in 10 days’ time, but Charlie says that yields have been severely impacted by the drought.
