Photo of the Week: New triplet lamb gets some TLC

Photo of the Week is from Elle Jade and shows a newborn lamb, one of a trio, being fed colostrum in the warmth at home.

Elle runs a small farm in in Eden Valley, Cumbria with her partner, Derrick, who is pictured here giving the lamb some much needed TLC.

Moorside Farm has a mixed pedigree flock of Suffolks, Blue Texels, Texels and Coloured Ryelands.

Elle says: “So far, our lambing has been a mixed bag. We’ve just started this last week and to be truthful it’s already had its trials and tribulations, as is always with the lambing season.”
