Photo of the Week: Whopper lamb weighs in at 8.5kg
This is Aimee Moore holding up one whopper of a lamb, born on Monday 30 March and tipping the scales at 8.5kg.
The 26-year-old was helping out with lambing for friend Johnny, a self-employed shepherd in Northumberland.
“The ewe had a natural birth, no C-section, just a little helping hand to get the lamb out,” she says.

Johnny has a commercial flock of Texel crosses and Mules.
“I do own my flock of rare-breed sheep, says Aimee, and I breed them. Her business, Ewe and Me Miniatures is on Instagram.
