‘Hartpury has really helped expand the way I see the agricultural world’
Hartpury College
I’m in my third year of my Agricultural Business Management degree and I love it.
I’ve always been interested in agriculture and Hartpury – which is part of the University of the West of England (UWE) – has really helped expand the way I see the agricultural world.
I went to the university after spending my whole life in a very small farming village in the North, I only wanted to learn more about animal production especially sheep. But the course introduced me to so much more, I never thought crops would work for me, but I really enjoyed finding out I have a natural aptitude in many of my crop-related modules.
We learn so much and we are always encouraged to never stop learning even when we’ve left which is why this university appealed so much to me.
I think UWE Hartpury deserves to be on your list, they may not be the biggest university but they are a fantastic one.
Hartpury College was also Graded Outstanding by Ofsted 2009-2010.
