Land and farms: Sport in Angus
A mixed block of land at Dunswood, near Brechin in Angus, could appeal to local farmers or others wanting to shoot and fish over their own land.
The 135-acre offering includes four arable fields fronting a public road, totalling 36 acres, a smaller six-acre arable field, 25 acres of permanent pasture and rough grazing plus 66 acres of woodland and a pond.
The woodland was mostly planted in 1993 under a Woodland Grant Scheme, and the land was in a Rural Stewardship Scheme when hedges were planted.
Dunswood, guided at ÂŁ250,000 for the whole, is also available in two lots; the four arable fields for more than ÂŁ155,000, and the rest at more than ÂŁ95,000.
