Pink farm buckets return to raise funds for breast cancer
© Rumenco-Lifeline Feed supplement company Rumenco has relaunched its pink Lifeline Lamb and Ewe bucket campaign, aiming to raise money for the Pink Ribbon Foundation, following last year’s successful fundraiser across UK farms.
The business, which develops and manufactures feed supplements and feeding systems for ruminant livestock, will contribute 15p to the foundation for every bucket sold during the campaign period.
The special-edition buckets are available from participating agricultural retailers, and farmers are being encouraged to share photos of their ewes, lambs and pink buckets on social media to help raise awareness.

“It shows how poignant cancer is to farmers and how important it is to raise awareness and support organisations like the Pink Ribbon Foundation,” said Rumenco managing director Nigel Lyon.
“When we calculated the total, everyone was surprised at the success of the campaign, and it was an easy decision to roll it out for a second year.”
The initiative, which combines advertising, social media and appearances at agricultural shows, builds on the company’s 2024 campaign that raised a total of £21,600 for the charity.
Every year, more than 55,000 people in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer, including around 400 men.
The Pink Ribbon Foundation is a grant-making trust that funds projects and provides financial support to UK charities working with those affected by the disease.
It also backs initiatives to improve understanding, early detection and treatment.
Rumenco employee Jo Taylor, who underwent treatment for breast cancer in 2024, said: “Raising awareness to help catch cancer early is paramount.
“Seeing so many pink buckets in fields, farms and merchants highlights the support of everyone in helping combat this terrible disease.”
Farmers and rural communities can show their support by purchasing the pink buckets and sharing their stories online throughout the campaign.
