Identi-kit is a monthly competition on the machinery section of our forums, giving you the opportunity to pit your wits against your friends and colleagues.

every month, we publish six pictures of machines or equipment taken from close-up, oblique or unusual angles and ask you to identify what they are. It could be a radiator grille on a much-loved 1970s classic, the spool levers on a recently launched tractor or the pick-up on a well known baler.

Some will be easy, some will take all your machinery knowledge and experience, but every month there’ll be £20 up for grabs.

Taking part is simple. Just go to this month’s competition, Identi-kit 3, on the forums and tell us what machine or piece of kit you can see in each photo – the more precise you can be in terms of make and model the better. (You will have to register on Fwispace before you can post your answers – this only takes a couple of minutes)
